Description
Golden Eagle M870 Tri-Shot Gas Pump Action Shotgun (Silver – Real Wood – 8885RW-SV)
The Golden Eagle M870 Tri-Shot (model 8885RW-SV) is a gas-powered pump-action shotgun based on the classic Remington 870 pattern. Each time you pump and fire, it sends three BBs downrange together, giving a close-range spread that is very effective when clearing rooms, holding corners and ambushing in woodland. This version pairs silver metalwork with real wood furniture.
Golden Eagle is one of the best-known names for airsoft gas shotguns, and the M870 range is popular with CQB players who enjoy getting up close and with anyone who wants a primary that plays very differently from an assault rifle. A pump-action shotgun encourages a deliberate, aggressive style of play, and it is great fun to use.
Design and build
The real wood furniture gives this shotgun a traditional, warm appearance, while the silver metalwork provides a bright, high-contrast finish. Together they make a striking replica that is a favourite for collectors and themed loadouts, and a refreshing change from the usual black tactical shotgun. The pump action and receiver follow the familiar 870 layout, so it feels natural to anyone who has handled a pump shotgun before.
How it works
The shotgun runs on gas and is operated by working the pump: rack the forend to load, then pull the trigger to fire three BBs at once. The tri-shot spread makes it forgiving at short range, and the manual action brings a satisfying rhythm to each shot. BBs are loaded into shell-type magazines, so it is worth carrying a few loaded shells in a pouch for quick reloads during a game.
On the field
The tri-shot spread is at its best at short to medium range, making the M870 an excellent choice for CQB sites, buildings and dense woodland where engagements happen up close. Many players also enjoy carrying a shotgun as a characterful alternative primary on themed game days.

Compatibility
This shotgun uses Golden Eagle M870-type shell magazines; spare shells are a good investment for faster reloads, but please check with us that they suit this exact model before ordering. It fires standard 6mm BBs.
As the furniture is real wood, accessories are best fitted to the existing mounting points only; avoid drilling or modifying the wood.
Care and maintenance
Use a good quality green gas with a little silicone in it, fill with the replica held so the fill valve is vertical, and do not overfill. Store the replica with a little gas in it so the internal seals stay seated, and add a drop of silicone oil to the fill valve every few games.
Wipe the metalwork with a lightly oiled cloth after use, particularly after damp games, and keep any wooden furniture away from prolonged moisture and direct heat. Use only clean, seamless 6mm BBs and keep the shells and inner barrel clean. Gas replicas perform best in mild weather, so keep the replica and gas warm in cold conditions.
Who is it for?
The Golden Eagle M870 Tri-Shot suits CQB players who like to get close, players who want a fun alternative to an assault rifle, and collectors who want a shotgun with traditional looks and real wood.
Please note: Gas and BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection and check the power limits and rules at your site before play.
