Description
Golden Eagle M870 Tri Shot Gas Shotgun Short Tan
The Golden Eagle M870 Tri Shot is a short, gas-powered pump-action airsoft shotgun finished in tan. Rack the pump, pull the trigger and three BBs leave the barrels at once, giving a spread of shot that is ideal for clearing rooms and corners at close range.
Golden Eagle’s M870 range is one of the most popular airsoft shotgun lines, so spare shells and support are easy to find. The short layout keeps the shotgun light and quick to bring into the aim, which makes it a strong choice for CQB and indoor sites, and the tan finish suits desert and multi-terrain loadouts.
How it works
Golden Eagle’s M870 tri-shot shotguns fire three BBs per shot from three barrels, with an internal selector on Golden Eagle’s tri-shot models allowing a three- or six-BB mode. BBs are loaded into shells that hold 30 BBs each, and one shell is loaded at a time.
The shotgun is gas powered and is listed by retailers for green gas or 134a. The hop-up is fixed at the factory, so there is nothing to adjust: standard 0.20g BBs suit it well.
Handling
The short configuration keeps the overall length down, so the shotgun is easy to move through doorways and buildings and comfortable to carry. The pump action gives a deliberate, satisfying rhythm to every shot.
Spare shells are a sensible early purchase, as reloading means swapping one shell for another. Practise this at home so it becomes second nature.
Getting started
Fill the gas reservoir as the manual describes, using short bursts, then load a shell with BBs. Rack the pump and fire a few shots at a safe backstop to get a feel for the spread.
Have the shotgun chronographed at your site before play, and check the site’s rules for shotguns and multi-shot replicas.

Compatibility
The shotgun uses Golden Eagle M870-series shells; spare shells are well worth having. Use green gas or 134a as recommended in the manual, and standard 0.20g BBs to suit the fixed hop-up. Check that any stock or rail accessories are made for this exact model before ordering.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the gas fill valve occasionally and store the shotgun with a little gas in it so the seals stay supple. Never overfill, and never use petroleum-based oils.
Keep your shells clean and check them for damage, wipe the shotgun down after use, and store it somewhere dry.
Who is it for?
This short tan M870 suits CQB and indoor players who want a light, fast-handling shotgun, and anyone building a breacher or shotgunner loadout in tan.
Please note: Gas, BBs and spare shells are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s rules for shotguns before play.
