Description
Golden Eagle PDW AEG (Black – Inc. Battery and Charger)
The Golden Eagle PDW is a compact electric airsoft rifle in a personal defence weapon (PDW) style, finished in black and supplied with a battery and charger. PDWs are designed to be short, light and quick to handle, so they are a natural fit for close-quarter games, indoor sites and players who prefer a small, manoeuvrable gun.
Golden Eagle is a long-established maker of affordable airsoft replicas, best known in the UK for its gas shotguns and good-value electric rifles. Its packages are designed to get new players onto the field quickly without a large outlay, and they are equally popular as spare or loan guns. This package lets you start playing without hunting for a compatible battery or charger, and the black finish keeps the look clean and purposeful.
Handling in close quarters
A short gun is easier to bring round corners, through doorways and in and out of vehicles, and it is less likely to snag on cover or kit. That makes a PDW ideal for CQB and urban sites, where engagements are quick and close and a long rifle quickly becomes a hindrance.
The compact size also suits younger and smaller players, who often find a full-size rifle tiring to hold. Paired with a sling, a PDW can sit across your chest ready to use without getting in the way.
Running costs and reliability
As an electric gun, the PDW runs from its rechargeable battery and needs no gas, so it is cheap to run and keeps working consistently in the cold. With the battery and charger in the box, all you need to add is BBs and eye protection.
Getting started
Charge your battery on a proper charger and fit it following the manual. Load a magazine and test-fire at a safe backstop, starting with the hop-up off and bringing it up gradually until shots fly flat. A few minutes of zeroing at the range makes a big difference to your confidence on the field.
Practise magazine changes and battery swaps at home, and get the rifle chronographed at the site before your first game.

Compatibility
Use magazines made for this model where possible, as PDW-style magazines are not always interchangeable between brands; please ask us if you need a spare. If you replace the supplied battery, check the battery space and connector first. Use good quality 6mm BBs; 0.20g BBs are a sensible starting point for a compact gun.
Care and maintenance
Disconnect the battery whenever the rifle is not in use, and recharge it with the supplied charger following the instructions. A cleaning rod and patch run through the inner barrel every few games keeps accuracy consistent, and good quality, polished BBs help protect the hop-up rubber.
Store the rifle in a dry place, ideally in a padded bag, and check screws and fittings before each game day. Avoid dry firing for long periods, and have any internal work done by someone experienced with AEGs.
Who is it for?
This PDW suits newer players, CQB fans and anyone who wants a compact, easy-to-handle electric gun with everything except BBs included. It is also a useful, inexpensive second gun for indoor sites.
Please note: The battery and charger are included; BBs are not. Charge the battery only with the supplied charger or a suitable smart charger, and never leave it charging unattended. Always wear suitable eye and face protection when using airsoft replicas.
