Description
HFC CT25 Non-Blowback Gas Pistol (Blue)
The HFC CT25 is a non-blowback gas pistol from HFC, finished in blue. It is a no-fuss, economical sidearm that is easy to use straight away and simple to look after, ideal for target shooting in the garden and as a dependable backup at skirmishes.
HFC has been making gas pistols for many years and has a reputation for practical, affordable designs. The CT25 follows that approach, using a non-blowback mechanism that keeps the pistol reliable and gets the most out of every fill of gas.
Non-blowback benefits
Because the slide does not move, all of the gas in the magazine goes into propelling the BB. That gives non-blowback pistols excellent gas efficiency, so you get more shots from each fill, and makes them quieter and more consistent in cooler weather than many blowback designs. They are also simpler mechanically, with fewer moving parts to wear, which makes them dependable and easy to look after.
If you are buying your first gas pistol, a non-blowback model like the CT25 is a good way to learn the basics of filling, loading and maintaining a gas pistol without worrying about the extra parts in a blowback slide.
Handling and use
Load BBs into the magazine, fill it with gas, insert it into the grip and the CT25 is ready. With no slide movement the sights stay still between shots, which helps you see where each BB lands and adjust your aim. Engage the safety when you are not shooting and keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
Weather and performance
Like all gas pistols, the CT25 works best in mild and warm weather. In the cold, gas pressure drops and power falls. Warming the magazine in your hand or a pocket before use helps, and using good quality BBs keeps accuracy consistent.

Compatibility

Care and maintenance
Non-blowback pistols are simple and reliable, but the seals still need looking after. Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine fill valve and seals every few fills, never use petroleum-based oils, and do not overfill the magazine; stop filling when gas begins to escape. Store the magazine with a little gas in it so the seals stay pressed and do not dry out. Wipe the pistol down after use, clean the barrel with a rod and patch occasionally, and keep it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
Who is it for?
The CT25 suits newcomers to gas pistols, garden target shooters and players looking for an affordable, reliable sidearm.
