Description
HFC CT25 Non Blowback Gas Pistol (Green – GGH-0401B)
The HFC CT25 is a very compact gas-powered airsoft pistol styled after the small pocket pistols of the type designed to be carried discreetly. This version is finished in green and carries the model code GGH-0401B. Its tiny size is a big part of its charm: it fits easily in the palm and weighs very little.
HFC is a Taiwanese gas airsoft manufacturer with a long history of making affordable gas pistols. The CT25 is about as simple as gas airsoft gets: a fixed slide, a gas reservoir and a straightforward trigger. That makes it an ideal low-cost introduction to gas replicas and an entertaining extra for any collection.
How it works
Gas stored in the pistol is released each time you pull the trigger, firing the BB down the barrel. As a non-blowback design, the slide does not move when you fire. All of the gas goes into firing the BB rather than cycling the action, so the pistol is quiet and gets a good number of shots from each fill. Without the moving slide there is no recoil, so the pistol stays steady on target between shots.
Handling and ergonomics
The CT25 is small enough to disappear in a pocket, which makes it a novel choice for role-play games where a hidden back-up weapon suits the story. Because it is so compact, most adults will find a two-finger grip on the frame, so take your time and use a steady stance for the best accuracy. It is particularly well suited to smaller hands and younger shooters under supervision.
Ideal uses
The CT25 is at its best for close-range target practice in the garden, plinking at cans or spinners, and as a characterful item in a collection of unusual replicas. It is also a good way to learn how gas pistols work, how to fill them and how to look after the seals, before moving on to larger blowback pistols.
Key features
- Very compact pocket-pistol style gas pistol
- Non-blowback action: quiet and economical on gas
- Steady, recoil-free shooting
- Light and easy to carry
- Simple to fill and operate
- Finished in green
Compatibility
Use only gas made for airsoft replicas; never use lighter fluid or other butane products. Light, good quality 6mm BBs suit a small pistol like this best. Parts and magazines are specific to this model, so please ask us before ordering spares.
Care and maintenance
Lubricate the fill valve with a drop of silicone oil every few fills to prevent leaks. Do not overfill, and store the pistol with a little gas inside so the seals stay seated. In cold weather, warm the pistol in your hand or a pocket before use for better gas pressure. Wipe it down after use, clean the barrel occasionally with a rod and dry patch, and use clean BBs only.
Who is it for?
The HFC CT25 suits beginners, collectors and anyone after a fun, inexpensive pocket-sized gas pistol for close-range target practice or as a novelty back-up in themed games.
Please note: Gas and BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye protection when shooting.
