Non-blowback explained
In a non-blowback (NBB) gas pistol, the slide stays still when you fire. All of the gas released goes into propelling the BB rather than cycling the slide, which has two practical advantages: you get more shots from each fill of gas, and the pistol is quieter. The trade-off is that there is no recoil effect, but for target practice, plinking and backup use, the efficiency and simplicity of a non-blowback pistol are real benefits. Each pull of the trigger fires one BB.

Compatibility

Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine’s fill valve and seals regularly, and store the magazine with a small amount of gas inside to keep the seals supple. Do not overfill. Gas pistols lose efficiency in cold weather, so keep the magazine warm in a pocket in winter. Use clean, seamless BBs, and store the pistol unloaded in a case.
