Description
Huntsman Tactical H17 Gas Blowback Pistol with Case
The Huntsman Tactical H17 is a gas blowback airsoft pistol modelled on the G17, one of the most widely used service pistols in the world, and it is supplied with a case for safe storage and transport. The G17 pattern is a natural choice for a first sidearm: it is simple to operate, comfortable in the hand and supported by a huge range of holsters and accessories.
The blowback action cycles the slide with every shot, giving a realistic kick and a satisfying feel when you shoot, and the familiar G17 layout makes it quick to learn. The included case makes it easy to carry the pistol to and from your site and keep it protected at home.
Performance
As a gas blowback pistol, the H17 uses gas held in the magazine both to fire the BB and to cycle the slide. That gives fast follow-up shots and a lively, realistic recoil. Gas pistols perform best in mild and warm weather; on cold days, keep spare magazines in a warm inner pocket so the gas stays at a good working pressure.
Handling
The G17 shape is one of the most familiar pistol layouts in airsoft. The grip is comfortable for most hand sizes, the controls are simple, and the pistol points naturally, which makes it a good choice for players picking up their first sidearm as well as experienced players who want a straightforward, dependable secondary.
Why choose a pistol with a case?
A hard case keeps your pistol protected when you travel to and from a game, stops it getting knocked around in a kit bag and gives you a tidy place to keep it, and its magazines, at home. It is also a sensible way to transport a replica discreetly.

Compatibility
The H17 is a G17-style pistol. Many holsters are made for G17-pattern pistols, but airsoft replicas from different makers can vary slightly in size, so check fit before relying on a holster in a game. For spare magazines, choose ones made for the H17 or confirmed compatible with it.
Care and maintenance
Gas blowback pistols reward a little regular attention. Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine’s fill valve and seals every few games so they stay supple and gas-tight, and wipe the outside of the slide rails and barrel with a lightly oiled cloth. Never use petroleum-based oils or solvents, as they can swell and damage rubber seals.
Fill magazines with the pistol pointing safely downwards and stop when gas starts to spit back from the valve rather than holding the can on longer. Store magazines with a small amount of gas in them so the seals stay seated, and keep the pistol and magazines somewhere cool and dry between games. Clean the inner barrel with a cleaning rod and a soft cloth if accuracy drops, and only use good quality seamless 6mm BBs.
Who is it for?
The H17 suits players looking for an affordable, easy-to-use first pistol, anyone who wants a dependable G17-style sidearm, and players who like their kit to come with a proper case for storage and travel.
Please note: Gas and BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection and check the power limits and pistol rules at your site before play.
