Description
ICS BLE-Vulture Gas Blowback Pistol (Black)
The ICS BLE-Vulture takes the time-tested 1911 platform and gives it a sharp, modern update. Part of ICS’s BLE (Blowback Experience) range, it combines the familiar 1911 grip angle and controls with a streamlined, angular slide and a matte black surface finish that sets it apart from traditional 1911 replicas.
ICS is a respected Taiwanese manufacturer known for well-engineered replicas, and the Vulture was designed to be a distinctive, practical sidearm for skirmishing as well as an eye-catching piece for collectors. Reviewers have praised its smooth operation and good gas efficiency.
Design and build
The Vulture is based on the 1911 layout, so anyone who has handled a 1911-style pistol will feel at home with the grip and controls. The slide has a modern, cut-away look, and the matte black surface treatment gives the gun a clean, uniform appearance.
Performance and internals
The pistol uses a fixed barrel design, with the slide cycling on each shot for realistic recoil. ICS fitted an adjustable trigger, a feature normally reserved for upgraded or competition pistols, so you can fine-tune the trigger to suit your shooting style. The Vulture runs on airsoft gas and fires in semi-automatic.
As with any gas pistol, it performs best in mild weather; keep magazines warm in colder conditions for more consistent results.
Customisation
Because the Vulture is built on the 1911 platform, many of its parts are compatible with other 1911s, which gives you plenty of scope for upgrading or personalising it with grips and other components over time.
On the field
A 1911-style pistol is a classic sidearm choice, and the Vulture’s slim profile makes it easy to carry in a belt or drop-leg holster. When your rifle runs dry or you push into a building, a quick draw and a few well-placed shots can win the fight. The adjustable trigger helps you shoot consistently, and the blowback slide gives clear feedback with each shot. Carry one or two spare magazines, and keep them warm on cold days. The Vulture is also a good pistol for target practice at home, where its 1911 controls and adjustable trigger reward careful shooting and help you build good habits for game days.
Collectors will appreciate its distinctive design, which looks quite different from the many traditional 1911 replicas on the market while keeping the familiar feel.
