JDG Polymer80 PFS9 Gas Blowback Pistol (Double Eagle, Black)
This is the Polymer80 PFS9 gas blowback pistol made by JDG (Janus Division Group), the brand associated with Double Eagle, and officially licensed by Polymer80. It recreates the popular P80 striker-fired build on a G-series pattern and is set up to Tokyo Marui G-series specification, so it works with a wide range of parts and magazines.
Build and performance
The slide and outer barrel are alloy, the frame is the licensed Polymer80 polymer design, and the slide lock, pins and screws are steel. It runs on green gas with a semi-automatic blowback action, and the slide is cut for a red dot sight straight out of the box. Hop-up is a gear-type adjuster on the barrel assembly, reached by removing the slide. The outer barrel carries an 11mm clockwise female thread for mock suppressors and tracers.

Good to know
Run it on a good-quality green gas made for airsoft, never lighter fluid or butane, and keep the magazine lips and seals lightly lubricated with silicone oil. Gas pistols lose some efficiency in cold weather, so warm the magazine in your hand or a pocket on chilly days. A 0.25g BB is a good starting weight for this pistol. As this is a realistic-coloured replica, it is classed as a realistic imitation firearm (RIF) in the UK, so you will need a valid defence such as UKARA registration to buy it, and you must be 18 or over. Always wear eye protection and check your site’s power limits before playing.
