Description
KWA M226-LE Gas Blowback Pistol (Full Metal – NS2 – Black – 101-00602)
The KWA M226-LE is a full metal gas blowback pistol based on the classic P226-pattern double-action service pistol, in black under code 101-00602. The LE (law enforcement) version has an accessory rail, a functional decocker and a Hogue Monogrip, and is driven by KWA’s NS2 gas system.
KWA is a Taiwanese manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for well-made gas blowback pistols and rifles, and its pistols are widely used by players who want something sturdy that will keep working season after season. This one is part of KWA’s full metal NS2 line.
Design and features
The P226 pattern is one of the best-known service pistols in the world, used by military and police units in many countries, and the M226-LE captures its shape and controls closely. The decocker on the left side safely lowers the hammer, while the functional slide catch and magazine catch work just like the real design.
A rail under the frame takes a weapon light or laser, which is a real advantage for night games and indoor sites. The slide carries realistic stamped markings.
Hogue grip
One of the highlights of the LE version is its Hogue Monogrip, a one-piece rubberised wrap-around grip. It gives a secure, comfortable hold, even with wet or gloved hands, and helps you control the pistol through quick follow-up shots.
Magazine
The magazine is listed as holding 25 rounds, which is a useful capacity for a sidearm, giving you plenty of shots before you need to reload.
NS2 gas system
Inside is KWA’s NS2 system, its own internal gas delivery design using a lightweight composite piston. It is used across KWA’s gas blowback range and gives these pistols their well-known strong, reliable cycling.
Because the pistol strips down in the same way as the real design, cleaning and basic maintenance are straightforward, and it is easy to learn the layout of the parts before you need to service anything.
Getting started
Fill the magazine with the correct gas, holding the can upright and filling in short bursts. Let the magazine settle for a minute, load your BBs and fire a few test shots with the hop-up off, then add hop gradually until the BBs fly flat.
Get the replica chronographed at your site before play. In cold weather, keep spare magazines warm in an inside pocket for the most consistent performance.

Compatibility
Use KWA magazines made for the M226 series; other makers’ P226-style magazines are not always interchangeable, so ask us before buying spares. The frame rail takes compact pistol lights and lasers. Because of the rail and Hogue grip, check that a holster is listed for a railed P226-pattern pistol.
Use only gas made for airsoft guns, and follow the gas recommendation in KWA’s manual; KWA’s guidance warns against some higher-pressure gases and propane, which can damage the seals and parts. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs; KWA recommends 0.20g or heavier.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine’s fill valve and seals every few fills, and store magazines with a little gas in them so the seals stay tight. Do not overfill, and let magazines warm up to room temperature in cold weather rather than heating them.
Wipe the moving parts and the outer barrel with a thin film of silicone oil now and then, clean the inner barrel with a rod and patch, and use good quality seamless BBs. Never use petroleum-based oils on the seals.
Who is it for?
Ideal for players who want a full-size, full metal service pistol with a comfortable grip, an accessory rail and realistic controls, and for fans of the P226 pattern.
Please note: Gas and BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s rules and power limits before play.
