Description
KWA M9 PTP Gas Blowback Pistol (Full Metal – NS2 – Black – 101-00101)
The KWA M9 PTP is a full metal gas blowback replica of the M9, the US military version of the Beretta 92-pattern service pistol. This standard black model, code 101-00101, has the classic smooth dust cover with no rail, and runs on KWA’s NS2 gas system as part of its Professional Training Pistol line.
KWA is a Taiwanese manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for well-made gas blowback pistols and rifles, and its pistols are widely used by players who want something sturdy that will keep working season after season. This one is part of KWA’s full metal NS2 line.
Design and features
The M9 is the US military designation of the Beretta 92-pattern pistol, one of the most familiar handguns of the last forty years. KWA’s PTP version has an ambidextrous safety that also decocks the hammer, white sight dots for quick target acquisition, and an outer barrel with an integrated feed ramp and locking block, which helps it look and work like the real design when stripped.
The magazine is machined from a solid steel bar rather than stamped, which makes it robust and gives the pistol a reassuring weight when loaded.
Standard version
This is the standard M9, without a frame rail, so it keeps the clean lines of the issued pistol. That suits military impressions and players who prefer a slimmer profile in the holster. If you want to mount a light or laser, KWA also makes the M9 PTP Tactical with a rail.
NS2 and the PTP range
NS2 is KWA’s own internal gas delivery system, built around a lightweight composite gas piston. It is the system KWA uses across its PTP pistols, and it is a large part of why they have a reputation for a solid, dependable blowback action.
The PTP name stands for Professional Training Pistol. KWA builds these models to be field-stripped like the real thing and to handle and operate realistically, which is why they are popular with players who also want a pistol for drills and practice.
Getting started
Charge the magazine with gas in short, steady bursts and let it rest briefly before shooting. Test-fire at a safe target and set the hop-up from zero, adding a little at a time until the BB’s flight is straight and level.
Practise reloads at home so they feel natural, and have the replica chronographed at the site before your first game.

Compatibility
Use KWA magazines made for its M9 series; magazines from other makers’ M9 and 92-pattern pistols are not always interchangeable, so ask us before buying spares. Most holsters made for a standard, non-railed M9 or 92-pattern pistol will suit it, but check the holster maker’s fit list.
Use only gas made for airsoft guns, and follow the gas recommendation in KWA’s manual; KWA’s guidance warns against some higher-pressure gases and propane, which can damage the seals and parts. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs; KWA recommends 0.20g or heavier.
Care and maintenance
Keep a little gas in the magazines when you store them and lubricate the seals with silicone oil from time to time. Fill in short bursts until gas just starts to spit back, and keep magazines at room temperature for the best performance.
After use, check the moving parts for dirt and wipe them with a light coat of silicone oil. Clean the inner barrel occasionally, use clean seamless BBs, and keep the replica dry.
Who is it for?
Ideal for players who want a dependable, full metal M9 with the classic unrailed shape, for military impressions, and for anyone looking for a realistic training-style sidearm.
Please note: Gas and BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s rules and power limits before play.
