Description
KWA M9 PTP Tactical Gas Blowback Pistol (Full Metal – NS2 – Black – 101-00131)
The KWA M9 PTP Tactical is a full metal gas blowback replica of the M9 service pistol, updated with an accessory rail on the frame for a light or laser. This black model, code 101-00131, runs on KWA’s NS2 gas system and is part of its Professional Training Pistol line.
KWA is a Taiwanese manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for well-made gas blowback pistols and rifles, and its pistols are widely used by players who want something sturdy that will keep working season after season. This one is part of KWA’s full metal NS2 line.
Design and features
The M9 is the US military designation of the Beretta 92-pattern pistol, one of the most familiar handguns of the last forty years. KWA’s PTP version has an ambidextrous safety that also decocks the hammer, white sight dots for quick target acquisition, and an outer barrel with an integrated feed ramp and locking block, which helps it look and work like the real design when stripped.
The magazine is machined from a solid steel bar rather than stamped, which makes it robust and gives the pistol a reassuring weight when loaded.
Tactical version
The Tactical model adds an accessory rail under the frame, which a retailer lists as a Weaver-style rail. It lets you fit a compact weapon light or laser, which is a real advantage at night games and indoor sites, while keeping the familiar M9 shape and controls.
NS2 and the PTP range
NS2 is KWA’s own internal gas delivery system, built around a lightweight composite gas piston. It is the system KWA uses across its PTP pistols, and it is a large part of why they have a reputation for a solid, dependable blowback action.
The PTP name stands for Professional Training Pistol. KWA builds these models to be field-stripped like the real thing and to handle and operate realistically, which is why they are popular with players who also want a pistol for drills and practice.
Getting started
Fill the magazine with the correct gas, holding the can upright and filling in short bursts. Let the magazine settle for a minute, load your BBs and fire a few test shots with the hop-up off, then add hop gradually until the BBs fly flat.
Get the replica chronographed at your site before play. In cold weather, keep spare magazines warm in an inside pocket for the most consistent performance.

Compatibility
Use KWA magazines made for its M9 series; magazines from other makers’ M9 and 92-pattern pistols are not always interchangeable, so ask us before buying spares. The frame rail takes compact lights and lasers; check the mount type on your accessory. Choose a holster made for a railed M9 or 92-pattern pistol.
Use only gas made for airsoft guns, and follow the gas recommendation in KWA’s manual; KWA’s guidance warns against some higher-pressure gases and propane, which can damage the seals and parts. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs; KWA recommends 0.20g or heavier.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine’s fill valve and seals every few fills, and store magazines with a little gas in them so the seals stay tight. Do not overfill, and let magazines warm up to room temperature in cold weather rather than heating them.
Wipe the moving parts and the outer barrel with a thin film of silicone oil now and then, clean the inner barrel with a rod and patch, and use good quality seamless BBs. Never use petroleum-based oils on the seals.
Who is it for?
Ideal for players who want a full metal M9 that can carry a light or laser, for CQB and night games, and for anyone who likes the classic service pistol shape with a modern rail.
Please note: Gas and BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s rules and power limits before play.
