The KWA RM4 Ronin Recon M-Lok is an AEG3 electric airsoft rifle with a recoil system, in black (model 106-00302). It is a modern M4-style carbine with a 14.5 inch outer barrel concealed under a custom mock suppressor, giving it a sleek, purposeful look, and a lightweight M-Lok rail ready for lights, grips and other accessories.
KWA is known for build quality and its own engineering, and the Ronin series is designed to be ready for serious play out of the box. The combination of KWA’s AEG 3 platform and recoil makes this a rewarding primary rifle for regular players.
Performance and internals
The AEG 3 gearbox is paired with an improved high-torque motor and an upgraded high-speed gear set for crisp trigger response. A Switch Life Extender helps prevent the trigger contacts burning out, protecting the rifle over time. Feeding is handled by a rotary hop-up, which makes quick adjustments easy.
The rifle also features magazine cut-off compatibility with KWA’s 30/120 round magazines, stopping the rifle firing when the magazine is empty, just like a real rifle. This encourages realistic reloads and saves dry-firing the gearbox.
Recoil system
KWA’s Kinetic Feedback System (KFS) adds felt recoil to each trigger pull. It is a satisfying touch that makes the rifle feel more alive in the hands and adds realism to drills and games.
Build and ergonomics
The receivers are metal alloy, with a one-piece upper receiver and modular upper compatibility. A MilSpec buffer tube and stock allow a wide choice of aftermarket stocks. The PTS Enhanced Polymer grip, enlarged trigger guard and flip-up sights complete the package, and the ambidextrous fire selector suits left- and right-handed shooters. Battery wiring runs to the rear, in the stock area.
M-Lok rail
The custom lightweight M-Lok rail keeps the front end slim, and M-Lok rail adapters are included in the box, so you can add Picatinny sections exactly where you need them for a light, foregrip or laser.
On the field
The 14.5 inch outer barrel and mock suppressor give the Ronin Recon a balanced length that works across woodland and CQB alike, and the slim rail keeps the front end comfortable to hold for long periods. The recoil and mag cut-off make every reload feel deliberate, which many players find adds to the immersion of a game.

Compatibility

Care and maintenance
Remove the battery after use and store it separately. Keep the inner barrel clean, use quality seamless BBs and avoid dry-firing. Check rail screws periodically and wipe the rifle down after wet games.
