The Prometheus EG Hard Gear set is a 20:1 gear set made for Tokyo Marui Next Generation Recoil Shock (NGRS) gearboxes. Gears take more strain than almost anything else in an AEG, and a quality set is one of the most important upgrades if you are fitting a stronger spring or running your rifle hard.

Tokyo Marui’s Next Generation Recoil Shock (NGRS) AEGs use their own gearbox and many parts of their own, with a recoil system built into the gearbox. Parts made for standard AEG gearboxes do not necessarily fit an NGRS gearbox, and the reverse is also true, so it is important to buy parts that are made for the NGRS system.

Compatibility

Care and maintenance
