Description
LCT LCKM Economy Assault Rifle Replica – Black
The LCT LCKM Economy is a more affordable version of LCT’s LCKM, an electric replica (AEG) of the AKM, the modernised form of the classic Kalashnikov rifle. Our original listing describes it as built from high-grade components with great attention to detail and faithful reproduction of the original, with almost the entire replica made of steel apart from a few small parts. It is finished in black.
LCT, from Taiwan, has become one of the best-known names for AK replicas, prized for their stamped steel bodies, weight and durability. The Economy version brings that steel AK experience to a lower price, making it a great entry point for players who want a proper steel Kalashnikov without stretching to LCT’s higher-end models.
Build and materials
A retailer listing of the LCKM Economy describes polymer and steel construction with a stamped receiver, giving the rifle the solid feel and authentic lines that LCT AKs are known for. It lists an overall length of 900mm and a weight of about 3.54kg, so the rifle has a reassuring heft without being tiring to carry.
The AKM layout is simple and robust: a familiar side-mounted selector, a curved magazine and a fixed stock, all of which make it easy to learn and quick to use.
Performance and internals
The same listing gives 9mm bearings with a CNC aluminium piston head and cylinder head in the gearbox, a 435mm inner barrel with a 6.05mm bore, and semi and full auto fire. LCT lists its standard LCKM with a Version 3 gearbox that takes Tokyo Marui-compatible parts, an adjustable slide-style hop-up and a short-type motor. We do not hold a full breakdown of what has been changed on the Economy version to reduce its price, so please ask us if a specific detail matters.
A 130-round magazine is listed as included, which suits realistic play and milsim events.
Getting started
Check the manual for the recommended battery and the space available, charge it fully and fit it. Load the magazine, test-fire at a safe backstop and adjust the hop-up from zero until the BBs fly flat. Have the rifle chronographed at your site before play.

Care and maintenance
Remove the battery after every game and store it separately, charging LiPo batteries only on a balance charger under supervision. Clean the inner barrel with a rod and dry patch every few games, and use good quality seamless BBs.
Steel can develop surface rust if left damp, so wipe the rifle with a lightly oiled cloth after wet games and let it dry fully before casing it. Have any gearbox work done by an experienced technician.
Who is it for?
For players who want a genuine steel AK replica at a lower price, first-time AK buyers, and anyone building a Russian or Eastern Bloc loadout on a budget.
Please note: A battery and charger are not listed as included, so please ask us if you need them. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s power limits before play.
