The LCT LCKMS Ver.2009 is an electric replica (AEG) of the AKMS, the folding-stock version of the AKM, finished in black with wood furniture. Our original listing describes it as made from the highest quality components with great attention to detail, so it closely resembles its firearm counterpart, with almost the entire replica made of steel apart from a few small parts.

Build and materials
A retailer listing of the LCKMS describes a stamped steel receiver with riveted construction, as on the real AK, a heavy steel barrel, gas piston assembly, front sight and muzzle, and durable wood furniture. The folding stock reduces the length for carrying and for use in vehicles and buildings, and the overall length is listed as 900mm.

The same listing gives a standard Version 3 gearbox that accepts Tokyo Marui-compatible upgrade parts, with 9mm steel bearings, a steel gearset, an aluminium cylinder, cylinder head and piston head, a polycarbonate piston with a steel rack, a metal spring guide with a bearing and 18AWG wiring. The hop-up is a slide-style unit that is easy to reach and adjust.
Fire modes are semi and full auto, selected with the familiar AK lever. The muzzle has a 14mm counter-clockwise thread for a tracer or mock suppressor.

Compatibility

Care and maintenance

Wipe the steel with a lightly oiled cloth after damp games to prevent surface rust, and keep the wood furniture dry, treating it occasionally with a suitable wood care product. Keep the stock hinge clean so it folds and locks smoothly.
