Description
LCT LTS KeyMod 9.5 Assault Rifle Replica – Black
The LCT LTS KeyMod 9.5 is a modernised AK-pattern electric rifle (AEG) from LCT, finished in black. It pairs a traditional stamped steel AK receiver with a 9.5-inch KeyMod handguard and an adjustable tactical stock, giving a classic Kalashnikov a contemporary, accessory-friendly layout. Our original listing describes it as made from high-quality components with great care for detail and resemblance to the original, with almost the entire replica made of steel apart from a few elements.
LCT, from Taiwan, is one of the best-known names for steel AK replicas, valued for their weight, durability and authentic feel. The LTS gives players who like the AK’s reliability and character the option of fitting modern lights, grips and optics without losing that steel build, which makes it a strong choice for skirmishers and milsim players alike.
Build and materials
A US retailer listing describes a full steel stamped receiver and steel barrel, with a CNC-machined aluminium KeyMod 9.5 handguard. The handguard is supplied with four removable Picatinny rail sections (two short and two long), so you can place rail only where you need it and keep the rest of the handguard slim and comfortable to hold.
The same listing gives an AK/SVD-style side optic rail on the receiver and an adjustable tactical stock with about three inches of extension. It lists an overall length of 33 inches and a weight of 9lb 10oz, so this is a substantial rifle with the solid, planted feel that steel AKs are known for.
Performance and internals
Inside, the listing gives a full metal Version 3 gearbox that can be upgraded with Tokyo Marui-compatible parts, 9mm bearings, a CNC aluminium cylinder head and piston head, and a steel spring guide with a bearing. The inner barrel is listed as 365mm brass, and the hop-up is an easily reached slide-type adjuster in a plastic chamber.
The wiring is listed as 18AWG and routed through the stock, and the same retailer lists the rifle for use with an 11.1V LiPo battery. Please check the manual for the battery size that fits before you buy one. A 130-round mid-cap magazine is listed as included, which suits realistic play.
Setting it up
The KeyMod handguard is the heart of this rifle’s appeal. Fit a short rail section at the front for a torch or laser, add an angled or vertical grip underneath, and use the side optic rail for a red dot or low-power scope with an AK side mount.
Before the first game, read the manual, charge your battery fully and test-fire at a safe backstop. Start with the hop-up off and add a little at a time until the BBs fly flat, then have the rifle chronographed at your site.

Compatibility
The rifle takes AK-pattern AEG magazines; LCT magazines are the safest choice, and most mainstream AK AEG magazines fit, but test any spare before relying on it in a game. The KeyMod handguard takes KeyMod rail sections and accessories, and the side rail takes AK side mounts. The US listing gives a 24mm counter-clockwise muzzle thread; please check the thread before buying a muzzle device, as AK replicas vary.
The Version 3 gearbox accepts Tokyo Marui-compatible upgrade parts, which makes servicing and tuning straightforward.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it separately, and charge LiPo batteries only on a supervised balance charger. Run a cleaning rod with a dry patch through the inner barrel every few games, and use good quality seamless BBs, as poor BBs are the most common cause of jams and hop-up wear.
Steel parts can pick up surface rust if they are left damp, so wipe the rifle down with a lightly oiled cloth after wet games and let it dry fully before it goes back in the case. Have any gearbox work carried out by an experienced technician. Check the KeyMod rail sections and screws are tight before each game.
Who is it for?
For AK fans who want a steel Kalashnikov with a modern KeyMod handguard and adjustable stock, milsim players building contemporary loadouts, and anyone who wants a durable rifle that can be set up with lights, grips and optics.
Please note: A battery and charger are not listed as included, so please ask us if you need them. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and have the replica chronographed at your site before play.
