Product details
- Model / version: LCT Polycarbonate Piston for AEG Series (Full Teeth) (PK-195)
Use and setup
The piston assembly is part of an airsoft replica’s compression mechanism. The exact component named here may be a piston, head or associated assembly, so choosing it correctly requires attention to both the platform and the parts that surround it.
Compare the stated version, material and any dimensions with the original component. Check how it interfaces with the cylinder, spring, guide and drive mechanism. Different electric and bolt-action systems can use very different designs, and an upgrade designation does not establish universal compatibility.
Care and checks
During installation, check movement, engagement and sealing as appropriate to the component. Avoid forcing parts together to compensate for a mismatch. After assembly, test operation and assess the completed setup rather than judging the replacement in isolation. Keep the original part until fitting and performance checks are complete; irregular cycling, leaks or binding may have causes elsewhere in the mechanism.
