Description
M1 Helmet in OD/Green
This is an M1-style helmet in OD (olive drab) green. The M1 is the classic steel pot helmet associated with the US military from the Second World War through to the Vietnam era, and its rounded shape is instantly recognisable on any historical or vintage-themed loadout.
For airsoft, reenactment and costume use, an M1-style helmet completes a WW2, Korea or Vietnam impression in a way no modern helmet can. The olive drab colour suits woodland play and works with period uniforms and webbing. Check the product images for the exact construction, liner and chinstrap fitted to this example.
On the field
Many airsoft players enjoy historical games and themed weekends where period kit is part of the fun, and the M1 shape is one of the most iconic pieces you can wear. A helmet also gives your head some cover from BB hits in woodland or CQB, and many players add a helmet net or cover with scrim for extra camouflage.
If you plan to use eye protection with a strap, check that it fits comfortably under or around the helmet before game day.
Fit and comfort
Sizing and adjustment details are not listed, so check the product images and contact us if you need help before ordering. Adjust the liner and chinstrap, as fitted, so that the helmet sits level without tipping forward over your eyes, and wear it with a thin cap or beanie in cold weather if the fit allows.
