The Crazy Jet design

Fitting
On most gas pistols the inner barrel and hop-up unit come out once the slide is removed. Fit or transfer the hop-up rubber, slide the new barrel into the hop-up chamber with the window lined up with the hop-up arm, and reassemble. Test the pistol on a chronograph afterwards, because a new barrel can change muzzle velocity.
Pairing with a bucking
Pistol barrels are short, so the hop-up rubber has a big influence on accuracy. Maple Leaf also makes hop-up rubbers, and many players fit a new one at the same time as the barrel, since the hop unit is already apart.

Clean the inner barrel with a rod and a dry, lint-free patch before fitting and whenever accuracy drops. Keep oil out of the barrel and off the hop-up rubber; silicone oil belongs on magazine seals and slide rails, not in the bore. Use good quality seamless BBs, and take care not to damage the barrel window or bucking during fitting.
