Use and setup
The hop-up system is one of the key areas to consider when matching an airsoft replica to its ammunition. Its components need to work together with the barrel, nozzle and BB weight; replacing one part should therefore be treated as a change to the complete setup.
Check the named platform and component type before ordering. AEG, gas and bolt-action systems can use different barrel cuts and rubber profiles. Where a hardness or size is stated, match it to the requirements of your build rather than relying on colour alone. An item described as a chamber, arm or rubber is a different component.
Care and checks
