Description
Maple Leaf Valve Spring for all kinds GBB Magazines (5pcs)
This is a pack of five Maple Leaf valve springs, listed for use in all kinds of gas blowback (GBB) magazines. Maple Leaf is a Taiwanese maker known for hop-up rubbers, inner barrels and gas pistol upgrade parts, and these springs are a handy set of spares for anyone who maintains their own gas magazines.
Valve springs are small parts, but a tired, bent or lost spring can stop a magazine from sealing or releasing gas properly. Having a few spares means a magazine problem can be fixed at home or even at the site, rather than leaving a magazine out of action.
What a valve spring does
Gas magazines use valves to hold gas in and to release a measured amount for each shot. The valve spring holds the valve closed until it is struck, then returns it to its seat to seal again. If the spring is weak, the valve may not close cleanly, which can cause leaks, poor gas efficiency or inconsistent shots. If it is too stiff or damaged, the valve may not open properly.
When to replace it
Common signs of a valve problem include a magazine that slowly leaks down, gas hissing from the output valve, or shots that vary a lot in power. Before replacing the spring, try a drop of silicone oil on the valve and its seals, as dry seals cause many leaks. If that does not cure it, open the valve, check the spring for damage or a kink, and fit one of these in its place.

Care and maintenance
Always empty a magazine of gas completely before opening a valve, and use the correct valve key so you do not damage the valve body or seals. Keep magazine seals healthy with a drop of silicone oil on the fill valve and output valve every so often, store magazines with a small amount of gas in them, and keep them away from heat. Do not overfill magazines, and work on a clean surface so small springs are not lost.
Who is it for?
These springs are for players and technicians who maintain their own gas pistol and rifle magazines and want spares on hand for quick repairs.
