Description
PPS WE Pistol Suppressor Adaptor (11mm CW to 14mm CCW – PPS-12016)
This PPS suppressor adaptor converts an 11mm clockwise (CW) thread to a 14mm counter-clockwise (CCW) thread, and our listing names it for WE pistols (code PPS-12016). It lets you fit a standard 14mm CCW suppressor, tracer unit or other muzzle device to a WE gas blowback pistol with an 11mm CW threaded barrel.
PPS makes a range of small parts and accessories for gas pistols and rifles. This version is specifically listed for WE pistols, a brand whose threaded-barrel models are very popular with skirmishers and collectors, so it suits WE owners who want to add a suppressor for looks or a tracer for night games.
Why use a thread adaptor
Airsoft threads come in two common sizes and two directions. Most rifles and the majority of pistol suppressors and tracers use 14mm counter-clockwise (14mm CCW, sometimes written 14mm-), while many gas pistols with threaded barrels use an 11mm clockwise (11mm CW, or 11mm+) thread. An adaptor like this bridges the gap, so the wide range of 14mm CCW muzzle devices can be used on an 11mm CW pistol.
Without an adaptor, an 11mm CW pistol is limited to the smaller range of 11mm devices. With one fitted, you can share the same suppressor or tracer between your pistol and your other replicas, which saves money and keeps your kit simpler.
Fitting
Make sure the pistol is unloaded, the magazine is out and there is no gas in the system. Screw the adaptor onto the barrel by hand in the clockwise direction until it is snug, then screw your 14mm CCW device onto the adaptor anticlockwise. Do not overtighten either thread, and check that your device sits straight and that BBs pass through it cleanly before play.
Pistol threads are not all made the same way. Some barrels have an external (male) thread and others an internal (female) thread, and thread protectors or end caps have to be removed first. Check the images of this adaptor against your pistol’s barrel before ordering.

Compatibility
Designed for WE pistols with an 11mm CW threaded barrel, and for 14mm CCW suppressors, tracers and muzzle devices. Other 11mm CW pistols may also accept it, but threads, barrel lengths and slide clearance vary, so check the fit with your own pistol.
A heavy suppressor on the end of a short barrel can affect the cycling of some blowback pistols, so choose a lightweight device where possible.
Care and maintenance
Keep both threads clean and free of grit, and wipe the adaptor down after muddy or wet games. Never force a thread that feels tight; back it off, clean it and try again so you do not cross-thread the barrel.
Check that the adaptor and anything attached to it are still tight before each game, as vibration from blowback can loosen them over time. Remove suppressors and adaptors before storing the pistol in a tight case.
Who is it for?
WE pistol owners who want to fit a 14mm CCW suppressor or tracer, and players who like to share muzzle devices between their pistol and rifle.
Please note: Pistol, suppressor and tracer are not included. Always wear suitable eye protection when using airsoft replicas.
