Using it
Keep both eyes open, put the dot on the target and shoot. Mount the sight on your rail at a comfortable distance from your eye, tighten the mount securely and zero it to your hop-up setting at your usual engagement distance. Use the lowest brightness setting that lets you see the dot clearly against the background; a dot that is too bright can bloom and hide the target, particularly in woodland shade or indoors.

Care and maintenance
Clean the lenses only with a soft lens cloth or brush. Turn the sight off after use and remove the battery if storing it for long periods. Keep it dry, and if it gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature. A lens protector is worth considering, as BB impacts can damage exposed glass.
