Description
Secutor Rudis Magna 1911 VII Custom Pistol (CO2 Powered – Gas Ready – Tan)
The Secutor Rudis Magna 1911 VII is a CO2-powered custom 1911 from Secutor Arms, pairing the timeless 1911 outline with modern custom styling and a factory-fitted micro red dot. This version is finished in tan. It is described as gas ready: it comes with a CO2 magazine, and it can also be run with a gas magazine bought separately, so you can choose the power source that suits the season.
Secutor Arms is known for distinctive custom pistols, and the Rudis Magna series gives the classic 1911 a weight-reduced, race-style slide and a host of practical features. It suits players who want something more individual than a standard Government model, with the equipment to back up its looks.
Build and materials
Secutor’s listings for the Rudis Magna 1911 VII describe a mostly aluminium build with a weight-reduced slide, which cuts down reciprocating mass and gives it a custom race-gun look, and a weight of approximately 936g for a solid, balanced feel. The outer barrel is 140mm long with a 14mm thread, although it is not intended to carry a full-size silencer, and a 20mm rail under the barrel accepts a pistol torch or laser.
The tan finish gives a desert-toned, modern look that suits coyote and multi-terrain kit, and stands out from the usual black pistols.
Sights
A micro red dot sight is fitted beside the rear sight and runs on a CR2032 battery, which is listed as included. Raised sights are also supplied, together with a base that allows an RMR-style red dot to be fitted, so you can set the pistol up the way you prefer. A red dot makes it much quicker to pick up the target, especially when you are shooting through a mask or goggles.
Performance
The CO2 magazine holds 26 BBs and gives a punchy blowback cycle that simulates the slide’s recoil. CO2 performs well in cooler weather, which makes the pistol a dependable choice through the British autumn and winter. The 110mm inner barrel has a 6.06mm bore, and the hop-up lets you set the backspin to suit your BB weight. With a gas magazine fitted, you can switch to gas in the warmer months.

Compatibility
The supplied CO2 magazine takes standard 12g CO2 capsules. A Secutor-compatible gas magazine can be used, bought separately; please check with us that a magazine suits this model before ordering. The 14mm thread is designed for short, light muzzle devices only, not full-size silencers. The under-barrel rail takes standard 20mm pistol torches and lasers, and 1911 holsters may need to allow for the fitted red dot.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the tip of each new 12g CO2 capsule before fitting it, as this helps keep the seals supple. Fire off or release any remaining gas before removing a capsule, and never store the replica with a capsule fitted for long periods.
Wipe the replica over after use, put a light film of silicone oil on the moving parts now and then, and clean the inner barrel with a cleaning rod and soft patch. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs, and store it somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight.
If you run a gas magazine in summer, put a drop of silicone oil on its fill valve every few fills and store it with a little gas inside.
Who is it for?
The Rudis Magna 1911 VII suits players who want a distinctive custom 1911 with a red dot ready to go, and collectors who appreciate Secutor’s custom styling. The tan finish suits players running desert or coyote-toned kit.
Please note: CO2 capsules, gas magazine and BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection when using airsoft replicas, and check your site’s rules and power limits before play.
