Description
S&T M1887 Gas Shell Ejecting Shot Gun (L – Real Wood – STGS07L)
The S&T M1887 is a gas-powered, shell-ejecting replica of the classic lever-action shotgun, here in the long (L) version with real wood furniture (STGS07L). Working the lever ejects the spent shell, just like the real thing, making it one of the most satisfying replicas to shoot.
The M1887 lever-action design dates back to the late nineteenth century and has become famous through films and games. S&T’s version brings that character to the airsoft field, with genuine wood furniture that gives it a traditional look and feel.
How it works
Each shot is loaded in a shell. When you work the lever, the action ejects the fired shell and chambers the next one, and pulling the trigger fires it using gas. The lever action rewards a smooth, practised technique, and there is nothing quite like the sight and sound of shells flying out as you cycle it.
Because the shells eject, it is worth playing on sites and in conditions where you can recover them, or bringing extra shells. Some players use the M1887 for indoor games or themed events where the shell ejection is part of the fun.
Build and finish
This is the long version of S&T’s M1887, giving it a classic, full-length profile. The real wood furniture is a big part of its appeal, adding weight and warmth compared with plastic, and it will wear in nicely with use.
The size and lever action make the M1887 more of a character piece than a fast-firing primary, but in the right hands it is a very effective close-range replica.
Getting started
Read the manual before first use so you know how to load the shells and fill with gas. Fill with the gas the manual recommends, load your shells, and practise working the lever fully and smoothly at a safe backstop. A short or hesitant lever stroke is the most common cause of feeding problems with lever-action replicas.
Have the shotgun chronographed at your site before play.

Care and maintenance
Collect and inspect the shells after use, and keep them clean and lightly lubricated with silicone oil so that they feed and seal properly. Wipe the metal parts with a lightly oiled cloth to keep moisture off, and treat the wooden furniture with a little wood wax or oil occasionally.
Never use petroleum-based oils on seals, do not overfill with gas, and store the shotgun in a dry place.
Who is it for?
The S&T M1887 is for collectors, fans of classic lever-action guns, and players at Western, themed or indoor events who want a replica that is as much fun to operate as it is to shoot.
Please note: gas and BBs are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection when using airsoft replicas.
