Description
Stinger Portable Compressor PCP 12v/220v
The Stinger Portable Compressor is a compact high-pressure air compressor for filling PCP air rifles and small HPA bottles. It runs from either a 12V car battery or mains power, so you can top up at home, in the workshop or at the car park on a game day without needing a dive shop or a large tank.
Stinger supplies airsoft and airgun equipment, and this compressor is one of its most practical products. It suits shooters who fill regularly and want the independence of filling their own gear, rather than relying on hand pumps or tank refills.
Performance
The compressor is rated to fill up to around 300 bar (4500 psi), which covers the fill pressures of most PCP air rifles and carbon fibre HPA cylinders. A built-in pressure gauge lets you watch the fill and stop at the pressure your equipment is rated for. The supplier lists a power rating of 350W, so it can run from a car battery or the mains via the supplied cables.
Compared with a hand pump, it does the hard work for you and is far less tiring when you are filling several times a week. Compared with a large dive cylinder, it takes up very little room and never needs taking away to be refilled.
Filling safely
Before filling, check that your rifle or bottle is in date and rated for the pressure you are filling to. Connect the quick-connect hose to the fill point, start the compressor and watch the gauge, stopping at the correct pressure. Let the compressor rest and cool between long fills, and always bleed the hose before disconnecting. Read the manual thoroughly before first use.

Compatibility
Suitable for PCP air rifles and HPA cylinders with a standard 1/8 inch quick-connect fill fitting, filled up to their rated pressure. Check your equipment’s maximum fill pressure and test date before use, and use an adaptor where your rifle has a different fill probe.
Care and maintenance
Change or clean the inline filter regularly, as moisture and oil in the air are the main enemies of PCP valves. Drain any condensate as described in the manual, keep the cooling vents clear and run the compressor on a stable, level surface with good airflow. Allow it to cool between long sessions rather than running it continuously.
Store it somewhere dry and dust-free, keep the hose and fittings capped when not in use, and use the supplied seal kit to replace worn seals when needed.
Who is it for?
PCP air rifle owners and HPA airsoft players who fill regularly and want a compact compressor that runs from both the mains and a car battery.
Please note: High-pressure air can be dangerous. Never exceed the rated pressure of your rifle or cylinder, never fill out-of-date cylinders, and always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
