Description
Tag Innovations AFG-6 Hand Grenade (Pack of 1 – AFG6)
The AFG-6 is a pyrotechnic training hand grenade from Tag Innovations (TAGinn) for airsoft and paintball, sold here as a single grenade under code AFG6. It is used much like a real hand grenade: hold the body and lever together, pull the pin and throw. Once the lever flies off, the fuze starts, and after around 3.5 seconds the grenade goes off with a bright flash and a loud bang, scattering small plastic balls around it.
TAGinn is one of the best-known names in airsoft pyrotechnics, and the AFG-6 uses a simple cellulose body that keeps the price sensible. Buying a single grenade is ideal if you want to try one out, or to keep one in your pouch for that decisive moment.
Using it in a game
Grenades come into their own for clearing rooms, corners and trenches, and for forcing opponents out of cover. Pull the pin, release the lever as you throw and give a clear warning if your site requires one. Follow your site’s rules on how grenade hits are counted, which usually depend on distance and whether players are in the same room or line of sight.
Throw it well away from yourself and your team, and never hold on to a grenade once the lever has gone.
If it does not go off
If a grenade fails to detonate, leave it where it is for several minutes and tell a marshal rather than picking it up. Never try to relight, open or reuse a grenade.

Compatibility
Thrown by hand, no launcher needed. It fits most grenade and general-purpose pouches. Many sites restrict or ban pyrotechnics, or only allow them in certain areas, so always check your site’s rules before bringing one.
Care and maintenance
Store in the original packaging somewhere cool and dry, away from heat, flames and direct sunlight, and out of the reach of children. Damp can affect pyrotechnics, so keep it sealed until you need it, carry it in a closed pouch, and never tamper with it.
Who is it for?
Airsoft and paintball players who want a realistic, affordable throwable for room clearing and close-quarters play, or who would like to try a TAGinn grenade before buying a larger pack.
Please note: Pyrotechnic product. Always wear full-seal eye protection, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and check your site’s rules before use.
