Description
Tag Innovations AFG-6 Hand Grenade (Pack of 50 – AFG6X50)
This is a bulk pack of 50 AFG-6 pyrotechnic training hand grenades from Tag Innovations (TAGinn), sold under code AFG6X50. The AFG-6 is used in the same way as a real hand grenade: hold the body and lever together, pull the pin and throw. When the lever comes away the delay starts, and after around 3.5 seconds the grenade goes off with a flash and a loud bang, scattering small plastic balls around it.
TAGinn is one of the best-known names in airsoft and paintball pyrotechnics. The AFG-6 uses a simple cellulose body, which keeps the cost down and makes it a sensible choice for players and teams who use grenades regularly. A pack of 50 suits event organisers, sites and large teams.
Using it in a game
Grenades are at their most useful for clearing rooms, corners and trenches, and for forcing players out of cover. Pull the pin, release the lever as you throw and give a clear warning if your site requires it. Follow your site’s rules on how grenade hits are counted, which usually depend on distance and line of sight.
Handling safely
Keep the pin in until you are ready to throw, and never hold on to a grenade once the lever has gone. Never throw a grenade directly at another player. If one fails to go off, leave it where it is for several minutes and tell a marshal rather than picking it up.
With a bulk pack, keep the grenades you are not carrying stored safely back at base rather than taking the whole box into the field.

Care and maintenance
Store pyrotechnics in their original packaging in a cool, dry place, away from heat, flames and direct sunlight, and out of the reach of children. Damp can stop a grenade working properly, so keep them sealed and dry in your kit bag, ideally in a dedicated box.
Never try to open, modify or repair a grenade, and do not use any that are damaged. Dispose of used and failed items as the manufacturer’s instructions and your site direct.
Who is it for?
Ideal for sites, event organisers and large teams who want a bulk supply of affordable, realistic hand grenades for regular use.
Please note: Pyrotechnic product. Always wear full-seal eye protection, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and check your site’s rules before bringing or using pyrotechnics.
