Description
Tokyo Marui Bodyguard 380 Non-Blowback Pistol
The Tokyo Marui Bodyguard 380 is a compact, non-blowback gas pistol modelled on the Smith and Wesson Bodyguard 380 pocket pistol. Part of Tokyo Marui’s Compact Carry range, it is small enough for smaller hands, a pocket or a concealed holster, and makes a handy backup sidearm, a good training piece, or an interesting addition to a collection.
Tokyo Marui is one of the most respected airsoft manufacturers, known for accurate, consistent replicas made in Japan. The Bodyguard 380 shows the same care at a very small scale, with readable sights and a compact, comfortable grip.
Design and build
The pistol is approximately 160mm long and weighs around 270g, so it is easy to carry all day. The body is plastic, finished in black, and the slide carries easy-to-read front and rear sights, which make quick target acquisition simpler than on many pocket-sized replicas. Under the frame is a dummy laser sight that copies the look of the real pistol’s integrated laser but does not function.
Performance
As a non-blowback design, the slide stays fixed when you fire. That means more of the gas goes into each shot, giving good gas efficiency and steady, consistent performance. The pistol has a fixed hop-up, factory set to suit the short barrel and typical pistol engagement distances, so there is nothing to adjust: load, aim and shoot. It fires in semi-automatic mode, one shot per trigger pull, from a 10-round gas magazine.
Handling
The small grip suits shooters with smaller hands well, and the compact size means it can be drawn quickly from a pocket or holster. It is an ideal last-resort backup for CQB games, where a short-range sidearm is all you need, and its simplicity makes it a good pistol for practising safe handling and trigger control.

Compatibility
The pistol only accepts Bodyguard 380 magazines. Tokyo Marui also produces a longer, higher-capacity Bodyguard 380 magazine and a dedicated holster. Use airsoft green gas or HFC134a only; lighter fluid or butane can permanently damage the pistol.
Care and maintenance
Lubricate the magazine seals and fill valve with a drop of silicone oil every few fills. Do not overfill, and store the magazine with a little gas inside. Use quality seamless BBs, keep the pistol dry, and warm the magazine in your hand in cold weather to help gas pressure.
Who is it for?
Ideal for players who want a small, light backup for CQB, those with smaller hands, and collectors of Tokyo Marui’s Compact Carry range.
Please note: Gas and BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye protection when shooting.
