Use and setup
Small fasteners and pins are important to the way an airsoft assembly is held together. The item named here is intended for the stated model or component position, so an accurate match is more useful than choosing a part solely by its appearance.
Compare the platform reference, part number and any stated dimensions with the original item or the relevant exploded diagram. Check whether the original is retained by a thread, clip, friction fit or another arrangement before attempting removal. Similar-looking fasteners can have different lengths or thread forms.
Care and checks
Use correctly fitting tools and support the surrounding assembly during servicing. Avoid forcing an unsuitable part into place or overtightening a small threaded component. After fitting, check that the assembly is secure and that moving parts still operate freely. Keep unused pieces clearly labelled to make future maintenance easier.
