The Vigor 1911 S2 Custom (model V14) is a full metal spring-powered airsoft pistol in blue, based on the legendary 1911 design with custom-style touches. Rack the slide to cock it before each shot; there is no gas or battery involved, so it is always ready and costs very little to run. This is the blue version: we also list the V14 in gold.
The 1911 is one of the most recognisable pistols ever made, and Vigor’s Custom version gives that classic shape a modern, distinctive look at a budget price. Build and finish
Full metal construction gives the V14 a solid, substantial feel that a plastic spring pistol cannot match, and the extra weight helps keep the pistol steady while you squeeze the trigger. How it works
A spring pistol uses a spring and piston to push a column of air behind the BB. Racking the slide compresses the spring and readies the next BB; pulling the trigger releases the piston and fires. Because you cock it for every shot, it encourages a slow, deliberate style, which is good practice for sight alignment and trigger control.
Learning safe handling
A simple spring pistol is a good place to build safe habits: keep your finger off the trigger until you are on target, point the muzzle in a safe direction at all times and treat the pistol as loaded. When you finish, unload it and leave it uncocked. Carry it in a bag or case when travelling, and store it securely at home out of reach of young children.
Target practice at home
Spring pistols are ideal for garden or indoor target practice where it is safe to shoot. Set up a proper backstop, such as a BB trap or a box filled with old cloth, keep everyone behind the firing line wearing eye protection, and use paper targets so you can watch your groups tighten as your technique improves.

Compatibility
Uses standard 6mm airsoft BBs; light weights such as 0.12g or 0.20g generally suit spring pistols best. Magazines and internals are specific to this model and are not interchangeable with 1911 gas pistols. Many 1911 holsters may suit the general shape, but check the fit before relying on one.
Care and maintenance
Use clean, good quality BBs and never reuse BBs picked up from the floor, as a damaged BB can jam the barrel. Wipe metal surfaces with a lightly oiled cloth now and then to protect the finish, put a little silicone oil on the slide rails to keep the action smooth, and store the pistol somewhere dry, unloaded and uncocked.
