Description
Viper Tactical Special Ops Gloves Black (Extra Large)
This pair of Viper Tactical Special Ops Gloves is the black version in size Extra Large. They are full-finger gloves built for airsoft and outdoor activity, giving your hands protection from hits, brambles and rough ground without losing the grip and feel you need on your replica.
Viper Tactical is a British brand known for practical, good-value tactical kit, and the Special Ops is aimed at players who want real knuckle protection without losing the feel they need on a trigger or a magazine release.
Materials and construction
A UK retailer listing for the Special Ops describes a glove built from composite materials and suede. The palm and trigger fingers are faced with a tactile, water-resistant suede, which gives a secure grip on furniture and grips while still letting you feel what you are doing. The backs of the hand and fingers use a Lycra and nylon blend, so the glove flexes with your hand rather than bunching up when you make a fist.
The same listing describes suede panelling down the sides of the knuckles that extends over the back of the glove. That matters in airsoft, where the knuckles are among the most painful places to take a hit.
Fit and adjustment
The listing describes an adjustable wrist support and a hand adjustment band, both closed with hook-and-loop straps, plus a suede pull-over cinch strap above a broad cuff strap. Between them you can snug the glove down around the wrist and across the back of the hand, so it stays put when you are crawling, climbing or reloading in a hurry. If you are between sizes, compare your palm measurement with Viper’s size guide before ordering.

Compatibility
These gloves are suitable for use with any airsoft replica and with general outdoor and range use. Check the fit against your own hand measurements and Viper’s sizing chart, as glove sizes vary between brands. Black matches almost any other kit colour.
Care and maintenance
Brush off mud and grit after a game and let the gloves air dry naturally away from radiators and direct heat, which can stiffen and crack suede. Stuff them loosely with paper if they are very wet so they keep their shape.
Close the hook-and-loop straps before washing or storing so they do not snag other kit, and follow the care label if you hand wash them. A small amount of suede protector can help keep the palms in good condition.
Who is it for?
The Special Ops in extra large suits airsoft players who want proper knuckle and hand protection without losing trigger feel. The extra large size suits players with bigger hands who struggle to find tactical gloves with enough room in the palm and fingers.
Please note: Gloves are sold as a pair. Always wear suitable eye and face protection when playing airsoft.
