WE 19 Series Gen 5 GBBP MOS/RMR Plate (Black)
The WE 19 Series Gen 5 is a gas blowback airsoft pistol in black with an MOS-style optic-ready slide and an RMR plate, so you can fit a compact red dot directly to the slide. It follows the polymer-frame striker pistol pattern that is used by police and military forces around the world, and it brings that modern set-up to airsoft.
WE is one of the best-known makers of gas blowback pistols, and its G-series replicas are popular for their crisp blowback and the large range of parts and magazines available. Adding an optic-ready slide makes this one of the most versatile pistols in the range.
Optic-ready slide
A slide-mounted red dot lets you aim with both eyes open and put the dot on the target, which is faster for most people than lining up iron sights. The RMR plate gives a secure mounting point for RMR-footprint sights, and the dot rides with the slide, so practise picking it up quickly as you present the pistol.

Size and handling
The 19-size frame is the compact model: a little shorter in the grip and slide than the full-size 17, which makes it easy to carry and quick to handle in tight spaces while still filling the hand well. Gen 5 styling follows the latest generation of the design.
A 20mm rail under the frame takes a compact weapon light or laser, which is invaluable for indoor sites and night games.
How it shoots
Gas stored in the magazine fires the BB and drives the slide back with every shot, giving a sharp, realistic recoil. Keep magazines at room temperature for the best performance, and on cold days carry spares in an inside pocket.
Getting started
Charge the magazine with gas in short, steady bursts and let it rest briefly before shooting. Test-fire at a safe target and set the hop-up from zero, adding a little at a time until the BB’s flight is straight and level.
Practise reloads at home so they feel natural, and have the replica chronographed at the site before your first game.

Compatibility
Uses WE G-series gas magazines made for this model; check the size (17 or 19 length) before buying spares. The RMR plate is for sights with an RMR footprint; other footprints need a different plate. G-series holsters with an optic cut are the best choice, and holsters for G-series pistols with lights will need to match the light you fit.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine’s fill valve and seals every few fills, and store magazines with a little gas in them so the seals stay tight. Do not overfill, and let magazines warm up to room temperature in cold weather rather than heating them.
Wipe the moving parts and the outer barrel with a thin film of silicone oil now and then, clean the inner barrel with a rod and patch, and use good quality seamless BBs. Never use petroleum-based oils on the seals.
