Description
WE 19 Series Gen 5 GBBP (Tan)
The WE 19 Series Gen 5 is a gas blowback pistol in tan, based on the compact 19-size version of the fifth-generation polymer-framed service pistol. The 19 has a shorter slide and grip than the full-size 17, which makes it lighter on the belt and quicker to handle in tight spaces while still giving most hands a full grip.
WE (WE-Tech) is a Taiwanese manufacturer and one of the best-known names in gas blowback pistols. Its G-series replicas are among the most widely used sidearms in UK airsoft, with good parts support and a reputation for strong, reliable blowback. This tan Gen 5 model suits players who run coyote, multicam or other earth-tone kit and want a compact, modern sidearm that matches their loadout.
Gen 5 design
The fifth-generation design brought a number of refinements over earlier models, including a cleaner grip without finger grooves, rounded front edges on the slide that help it slide easily into a holster, and an ambidextrous slide release. WE reproduces the Gen 5 styling, so the pistol has the same modern lines that many players are familiar with from real-world service pistols.
How it works
The WE 19 Gen 5 is a gas blowback pistol. Gas is filled into the magazine, and each pull of the trigger releases a measured amount to fire the BB and drive the slide back. The moving slide gives a real kick in the hand, cocks the action for the next shot and locks back when the magazine is empty, so you build the same reloading habits you would with a real pistol.
Performance depends on temperature. Gas pistols run crisply in warm weather; in the cold, pressure drops, so keep a spare magazine in an inside pocket and pace your shots. Good quality BBs of a consistent weight give the flattest, most consistent flight.
Living with a G-series pistol
The G-series layout is one of the simplest to learn: there is no external hammer or manual safety lever to manage, just a trigger safety, slide release and magazine catch in familiar places. That simplicity is one reason this style of pistol is so common as a first sidearm. Holsters, lights and spare magazines designed around the shape are easy to find, so building a complete setup is straightforward.

Compatibility
Use WE G-series gas magazines designed for this pistol; please ask us before buying spares to make sure they fit the 19 frame. Fires standard 6mm BBs; 0.20g to 0.25g suit most gas pistols.
Holsters made for 19-size pistols are the best fit; full-size 17 holsters often accept a 19, but check first. Use only gas made for airsoft guns; never use lighter fluid or butane.
Care and maintenance
Gas blowback pistols reward a little regular attention. After a day’s play, wipe the slide, frame and magazine down with a lightly oiled cloth to remove dust and moisture, and run a cleaning rod with a clean patch through the inner barrel every so often to keep accuracy consistent. Use only gas made for airsoft, and put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine fill valve and outlet seal from time to time to keep them supple and leak-free.
Don’t overfill the magazine; a short, steady fill is enough, and you will hear and see when it is full. For storage, leave a small amount of gas in the magazine to keep the seals pressurised, store the pistol and magazines at room temperature, and avoid leaving them in a cold car or direct sun. In cold weather keep spare magazines warm in a pocket, as gas pressure drops noticeably as temperature falls. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs, as cheap or misshapen BBs are the most common cause of jams and hop-up wear.
Who is it for?
The WE 19 Gen 5 in tan is ideal for players who want a compact, modern sidearm that matches earth-tone kit, and for anyone who finds a full-size pistol a little bulky to carry all day.
Please note: Gas, BBs and spare magazines are not included unless stated above. Always wear suitable eye and face protection and check the power and safety rules at your site before play.
