The WE 712 is a gas blowback replica of the Mauser M712, the select-fire development of the famous C96 “Broomhandle” pistol. Production of the original Model 712 began in 1932, and its long barrel, forward magazine and distinctive grip make it one of the most recognisable handguns of the era.
WE build this replica with full metal construction and full-auto capability, and this package comes with the classic shoulder stock that doubles as a carry case, just like the wooden holster-stock of the original. It is equally at home as a characterful sidearm for period games and as a collector’s piece.
Stock and case in one
The original M712 was issued with a hollow wooden stock that clipped onto the back of the grip, turning the pistol into a compact carbine, and also served as its holster. This set recreates that idea: carry the pistol inside the stock, then attach the stock when you want a steadier shoulder-fired hold for longer shots. It is practical as well as authentic, and gives you a stable platform for controlled full-auto bursts.
Gas blowback and full auto
As a gas blowback pistol, the WE 712 cycles its metal slide with every shot for a lively, realistic feel. The selector allows full-auto fire, which empties the magazine quickly and is great fun; switching to semi gives better control and conserves gas and BBs. Compatibility

The stock is designed for this pistol. Use good quality 0.20g or 0.25g seamless BBs and adjust the hop-up accordingly.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine fill valve and seals every few gas fills, and store the magazine with a small amount of gas in it to keep the seals swollen and airtight.
Do not overfill the magazine; stop when gas starts to spit back from the valve. Gas performance drops in cold weather, so keep magazines warm in a pocket on cooler days.
Wipe the gun down after use, clean the inner barrel with a rod and soft patch now and again, and lightly lubricate moving parts with silicone oil. Never use petroleum-based oils on gas seals.
Full-auto fire uses gas quickly and cools the magazine, so allow it to warm between bursts for consistent performance.
