Description
WE G17 Air Nozzle (Complete with Internals)
This is a complete air nozzle assembly, supplied with its internals, for the WE G17 gas blowback pistol. WE (WE-Tech) is a Taiwanese maker whose gas blowback pistols are popular for their strong recoil and good parts support. The G17 is WE’s replica of the best-known polymer-framed pistol of all.
The air nozzle, often called the loading nozzle or blowback unit nozzle, is at the heart of a gas blowback pistol. It pushes each BB from the magazine into the hop-up, directs the burst of gas behind the BB, and then lets gas act on the slide to drive it back and cycle the action. Inside, a small valve and spring switch the gas between firing the BB and blowing the slide back. If any of these parts are worn, cracked or sticking, the pistol can lose power, fail to cycle or double-feed.
Why buy a complete nozzle
Because this assembly is listed as complete with its internals, it lets you replace the whole unit in one go instead of chasing individual worn parts. It is the quickest fix for a cracked nozzle, a lost or damaged internal valve, or a nozzle that has become tired after a lot of use, and it is a useful spare for players who rely on one pistol as their sidearm.
Fitting
Remove the magazine and slide following the method for your model. The nozzle assembly normally sits in the rear of the slide and is held by a retaining part or the recoil guide, depending on the design. Note how the old nozzle comes out, fit the new one the same way round, and make sure the internal valve moves freely. Lightly lubricate the outside of the nozzle and the slide rails with silicone oil, reassemble, and cycle the slide by hand before testing with gas.
Key features
- Complete air nozzle assembly for the WE G17
- Listed as supplied with internals
- Restores reliable feeding, gas seal and blowback
- Saves sourcing individual internal parts
- Useful as a quick-change spare
- WE spare part
Compatibility
Listed for the WE G17. WE has produced several G-series models and generations, and their nozzles may differ. Nozzles are not universal: even within one maker, different models and generations use different nozzles, so compare with your existing part and check your model before ordering.
Care and maintenance
Keep the nozzle and the inside of the slide clean, and apply a small amount of silicone oil to the outside of the nozzle and the slide rails every few games. Avoid petroleum-based oils, which can damage rubber and plastic parts. Use good-quality seamless BBs to reduce wear on the nozzle tip and hop-up.
Use the gas recommended for your pistol, do not fire long strings rapidly in cold weather as the magazine cools and pressure falls, and store the pistol with the magazine removed.
Who is it for?
This assembly is for owners of the WE G17 who have a damaged or worn nozzle, are seeing weak or inconsistent blowback, or want a ready-made spare for a quick repair.
Please note: This listing is for the nozzle assembly only; the pistol and magazine are not included. Always wear suitable eye protection when testing a replica.
