Description
WE Galaxy Hi-Capa Series Gas Blowback Pistol (Black)
The WE Galaxy is a gas blowback pistol built on the well-proven Hi-Capa platform, shown here with a black finish. WE is one of the best-known makers of gas pistols, and the Galaxy series takes the familiar Hi-Capa frame and controls and pairs them with a distinctive, modern slide and barrel design.
Instead of a conventional slide, the Galaxy uses a barrel assembly with an enclosed bolt as its main moving part. The result is a pistol that looks quite different from anything else on the field while keeping the grip, controls and magazine compatibility that make the Hi-Capa so popular. The black finish is the most understated of the range and suits any loadout, from practical shooting to skirmish.
Build and finish
The slide, frame and barrel assembly are metal, giving the pistol a solid, weighty feel in the hand and the durability to handle regular use. The outer barrel has a ventilated shroud and is threaded 14mm negative (counter-clockwise) under a thread protector, so you can fit a compatible suppressor, tracer unit or flash hider if you want to.
The Hi-Capa frame gives a comfortable double-stack grip that fills the hand well, along with the familiar grip safety and manual safety switch. Anyone who has used a 1911 or Hi-Capa will feel at home straight away.
Gas blowback action
Each shot uses a small amount of gas to fire the BB and cycle the action, giving a noticeable kick and a satisfying sound. The action cycles automatically, so you can fire as fast as you can pull the trigger.
Gas pistols are at their best in mild weather. In cold conditions the gas loses pressure, so performance and gas efficiency drop; keep spare magazines in an inside pocket on cold days to keep them warm.
Maintenance and adjustment
The Galaxy uses a hinged take-down design, which makes field stripping quick and simple. That makes it easy to reach the hop-up for adjustment and to clean the inner barrel, so you can tune the pistol to the BB weight you prefer.
Upgrades and customisation
Because it is built on the Hi-Capa platform, the Galaxy benefits from one of the widest choices of grips, triggers, magazine wells and internal parts available for any gas pistol. Check that any part you buy is listed as compatible with WE Hi-Capa or Galaxy models before fitting it.

Compatibility
The Galaxy is designed to work with WE-Tech Hi-Capa double-stack gas magazines. Other brands of Hi-Capa magazine may or may not fit, so check with us before buying spares.
It runs on standard airsoft green gas. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs; 0.20g or 0.25g are a sensible starting point, with the hop-up adjusted to suit. The 14mm negative thread accepts standard 14mm CCW muzzle devices.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine fill valve and seals regularly, and store magazines with a small amount of gas in them to keep the seals seated. Do not overfill, and never use CO2 in a green gas magazine.
Clean the inner barrel with a cleaning rod and a lightly oiled cloth if accuracy drops, and wipe the outside down after use, especially after a damp or muddy game. Keep the moving parts lightly lubricated with silicone oil or grease designed for airsoft use.
Who is it for?
The WE Galaxy suits players who want a reliable gas sidearm with a look that is out of the ordinary, and Hi-Capa fans who enjoy tinkering and upgrading. The black finish makes it equally at home in a collection or on the skirmish field.
Please note: Gas and BBs are not included. Gas pistols perform less well in cold weather. Always wear suitable eye and face protection.
