Description
WE Hi-Power Browning MK3 Gas Blowback Pistol (Black)
The WE Hi-Power Browning MK3 is a gas blowback airsoft pistol in black, styled on the classic Hi-Power, one of the most important pistol designs of the twentieth century and a long-serving sidearm with the British Army. With its slim slide, angled grip and traditional lines, it is a pistol with real character.
WE is one of the best-known makers of gas blowback pistols, and its Hi-Power has a metal slide and frame for a solid, weighty feel. The black finish gives it the look of a service pistol, making it ideal both as a practical sidearm and for period British Army impressions.
Build and materials
The slide, frame and lower receiver are metal, with moulded polymer grip panels. The metal construction gives the pistol good weight and balance, and it stands up well to regular use. Details such as the forward cocking serrations, working external hammer and textured magazine release follow the look and feel of the original.
Gas blowback performance
The slide cycles with every shot, giving a crisp recoil that makes the pistol satisfying to shoot. It uses a double-stack magazine holding 20 BBs plus one in the chamber, and like the original design it has a magazine safety, so it will not fire without the magazine in place.
The magazine can be filled with green gas or red gas, or with propane using a suitable adapter. Choose your gas to suit the weather and your site’s limits, and have the pistol chronographed before play.
A pistol with history
The Hi-Power was one of the first pistols to use a high-capacity double-stack magazine, and it served with the armed forces of many countries for decades. That makes the WE replica a natural choice for anyone building a British Army impression from the Second World War through to the late twentieth century, as well as for players and collectors who enjoy classic designs.
Its slim grip suits a wide range of hand sizes and points naturally, so it is also an enjoyable pistol for target practice.
Getting started
Fill the magazine with the correct gas, holding the can upright and filling in short bursts. Let the magazine settle for a minute, load your BBs and fire a few test shots with the hop-up off, then add hop gradually until the BBs fly flat.
Get the replica chronographed at your site before play. In cold weather, keep spare magazines warm in an inside pocket for the most consistent performance.

Compatibility
The pistol takes WE Hi-Power gas magazines, and a spare or two is worth having for longer games. It fires standard 6mm BBs; 0.20g or 0.25g good quality seamless BBs are a sensible choice. Holsters made for the Hi-Power shape will give the best fit.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine’s fill valve and seals every few fills, and store magazines with a little gas in them so the seals stay tight. Do not overfill, and let magazines warm up to room temperature in cold weather rather than heating them.
Wipe the moving parts and the outer barrel with a thin film of silicone oil now and then, clean the inner barrel with a rod and patch, and use good quality seamless BBs. Never use petroleum-based oils on the seals.
Who is it for?
Players and collectors who want a classic, metal-bodied gas blowback pistol, and reenactors building British Army impressions from the Second World War onwards.
Please note: Gas and BBs are not included. Gas pistols lose some performance in cold weather. Always wear suitable eye protection.
