WE Hi-Power Browning MK3 Gas Blowback Pistol (Silver)
The WE Hi-Power Browning MK3 is a gas blowback airsoft pistol in silver, modelled on the famous Hi-Power, a pistol with a long and distinguished service history, including many years with the British Army. Its slim lines, angled grip and classic proportions have made it a favourite with collectors and with players who prefer a sidearm with character.
WE is one of the most established makers of gas blowback pistols, and its Hi-Power has a metal slide and frame for a solid feel. The silver finish gives this version a striking look that stands out on the field and in a display cabinet.
Build and materials
The slide, frame and lower receiver are metal, with moulded polymer grip panels. This gives the pistol good weight and balance, and the metal construction stands up well to regular use. The slide has forward cocking serrations and the pistol has a working external hammer and a textured magazine release.
Gas blowback performance
The slide cycles with every shot for a crisp, satisfying recoil. The pistol uses a double-stack magazine holding 20 BBs plus one in the chamber, and it will not fire without the magazine fitted, mirroring the magazine safety of the original design.
The magazine can be filled with green gas or red gas, or with propane using a suitable adapter. Choose the gas to suit the weather and your site’s power limits, and get the pistol chronographed before play.
Handling
The Hi-Power’s slim grip suits a wide range of hand sizes and points naturally. Combined with the moving slide, it makes an enjoyable pistol for target shooting as well as a period-correct sidearm for British Army, WWII and Cold War impressions.

Compatibility
The pistol takes WE Hi-Power gas magazines; spares are worth having for longer games. It fires standard 6mm BBs, with 0.20g or 0.25g being a good choice, and high-quality seamless BBs giving the best results. Holsters made for the Hi-Power shape will fit best.
Care and maintenance
Keep a little gas in the magazine when stored and lubricate the seals and fill valve with silicone oil from time to time. Fill in short bursts and avoid overfilling.
The silver finish benefits from a wipe with a soft cloth after each use to remove fingerprints and moisture. Lightly oil the slide rails, clean the inner barrel occasionally and store the pistol somewhere dry.
