WoSport Spitfire Flame Tracer 14mm CCW (6.3" – Black)
The WoSport Spitfire Flame Tracer is a suppressor-style tracer unit that screws onto any 14mm counter-clockwise (CCW) threaded outer barrel. This version is 6.3 inches long and finished in black. As each BB passes through the unit, it is lit up so that glow-in-the-dark tracer BBs leave a visible trail through the air, and LEDs in the front of the unit recreate a muzzle flash for a more dramatic effect.
Tracers have become hugely popular for night games and dark indoor sites, where seeing exactly where your shots are going makes a big difference. They also add a lot of fun to daytime shooting in shade and woodland. At 6.3 inches it is the longest size in this listing range, giving a full-length suppressor look that suits rifles and longer builds.
How it works
Inside the tracer unit, a sensor detects each BB as it passes and triggers a bright flash of light. Tracer BBs, which contain a phosphorescent compound, absorb that light and glow as they fly, so you and your team can watch the flight path all the way to the target. The Spitfire Flame Tracer adds an LED muzzle flash effect at the front of the unit for extra realism. WoSport lists this Spitfire Flame Tracer range with a built-in lithium battery giving up to around four hours of use, and suitable for rates of fire up to 35 rounds per second.
Because you can see where every shot lands, a tracer is also a useful training tool: you can quickly adjust your aim and hop-up and learn how BBs behave at range.
Using it on the field
Tracers come into their own at night games and in dark buildings. Agree with your team and site how tracers are used, as some sites have specific rules for them. Remember that a bright muzzle flash also shows your opponents where you are firing from, so move between positions after engaging.
Always use proper tracer BBs, as standard white BBs will not glow. Make sure the tracer is fully charged before the game, and switch it off when you are not using it to save battery.

Compatibility
Fits replicas with a 14mm counter-clockwise (CCW) outer barrel thread, which is the standard thread on most M4, AK and similar AEGs and many gas rifles. Replicas with 14mm clockwise threads, 11mm pistol threads or proprietary threads will need a suitable adaptor. Check that the BB path is clear and centred before firing, as an out-of-line tracer can cause BB strikes. Tracer BBs are required for the tracing effect and are not included.
Care and maintenance
Charge the tracer fully before each game and do not leave it switched on when not in use. Store it in a cool, dry place, and charge it every few months if it is stored for a long time to help preserve the battery.
Keep the inside of the unit free of debris and broken BB fragments, which can block the sensor or the BB path. If the tracer gets wet, switch it off and let it dry thoroughly before charging or using it again.
