Compatibility
The rifle uses WE SVD-series gas magazines; magazines from other SVD replicas, including AEG and spring versions, will not work, so please check with us before ordering spares. Use the gas recommended in the manual. The SVD’s side rail is the traditional mounting point for an optic; check that any mount you choose is made for the SVD side rail. Use quality seamless BBs, as heavier BBs suit the marksman role.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine fill valve and seals every few fills, and store the magazines with a little gas in them so the seals stay supple. Do not overfill, and never use petroleum-based oils on the seals.
