Description

APS Paintball Marker Pump Action Shotgun (16 Inch – Co2 Powered – 0.68 – Black)

The APS pump action paintball shotgun is a .68 calibre, CO2-powered marker in black, fitted here with a 16 inch barrel. It brings the feel of a tactical pump shotgun to paintball, rubber-ball target shooting and training, with a manual pump action that gives a deliberate rhythm to every shot.

APS is well known in airsoft for robust, practical replicas, including their popular pump-action shotguns. This marker applies the same thinking to .68 calibre ammunition. It is offered in two barrel lengths: this 16 inch version and a 14 inch version.

Pump action

Working the pump between shots is part of the appeal. It slows the pace of play, rewards aimed shots, and gives a satisfying, mechanical feel that semi-automatic markers simply do not have. It is also a good way to practise the shoulder-mount, shot and pump routine used with tactical shotguns.

A manual action has another practical benefit: with fewer moving parts driven by gas, there is less to go wrong, and the marker is straightforward to look after between sessions. The black finish keeps the look plain and purposeful, and suits most loadouts.

Barrel length

The 16 inch barrel gives a longer sight radius and a more traditional shotgun profile, which many shooters find steadier when aiming at longer targets. Choose this version if you prefer a fuller-length feel.

Shooting technique

A pump action rewards a firm, consistent routine. Mount the marker into your shoulder, take your shot, then run the pump fully back and fully forward in one smooth movement while keeping the marker on target. Short-stroking the pump is the most common cause of problems with any pump action, so practise a full, positive stroke until it becomes second nature. With rubber balls you can repeat this drill as often as you like without any mess to clean up afterwards.

Power and ammunition

The marker is CO2 powered, so it needs no battery and gives consistent results in normal temperatures. As with any CO2 marker, output falls in cold weather, so keep CO2 warm in winter. It uses standard .68 calibre paintballs and rubber balls, which are easy to find.

Key features

  • .68 calibre pump action marker
  • CO2 powered
  • 16 inch barrel
  • Black finish
  • Uses standard .68 paintballs and rubber balls
  • Tactical shotgun styling and handling
  • Made by APS

Compatibility

Uses .68 calibre ammunition, including the APS 0.68 rubber balls (100 pcs, 3g) and standard .68 paintballs. It does not use 6mm BBs or .50 calibre rounds. Please check the CO2 type your marker takes in the manual, or contact us before buying CO2.

Care and maintenance

Depressurise the marker and remove the CO2 after each session. Keep paint fresh and stored cool and dry, and clean the barrel straight away if a ball breaks, as leftover paint ruins accuracy. Wipe the outside down after use, keep the pump action clean and lightly lubricated according to the manual, and store the marker unloaded in a cool, dry place.

Who is it for?

This marker suits paintball players and target shooters who enjoy the feel of a pump action shotgun, and anyone who wants a full-length .68 calibre marker for practice and training.

Please note: CO2 is sold separately. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and only shoot where it is safe and permitted.
