Compatibility
The KP1911 uses KJWorks CO2 magazines that take standard 12g CO2 capsules. Before buying spare magazines, check that they are made for the KJWorks 1911 CO2 pistol, as 1911 magazines from other makers and gas magazines may not fit or work correctly.
It fires standard 6mm BBs, with 0.20g or 0.25g BBs a good starting point. Most holsters made for full-size 1911 pistols without accessory rails should suit it; check the fit before use.
Care and maintenance
Use good quality 12g CO2 capsules and put a drop of silicone oil on the tip of each new capsule before piercing it; this helps keep the magazine seals supple. Do not leave a spent or part-used capsule in the magazine for long periods, and never store the pistol with a full capsule fitted.
Keep the slide rails and moving parts lightly lubricated with silicone oil, wipe the pistol over after damp games, and run a cleaning rod through the inner barrel now and then to remove dirt and residue. Use clean, seamless 6mm BBs to protect the hop-up rubber and barrel.
