Description

LCT ZK-19-01 Vityaz PDW Submachine Gun Replica – Black

The LCT ZK-19-01 Vityaz is an electric (AEG) replica of the PP-19-01 Vityaz, the Russian 9mm submachine gun that shares much of its layout and controls with the AK family. LCT, from Taiwan, have built their reputation on solid, steel-bodied AK-pattern replicas, and the Vityaz brings that same rugged construction to a compact, quick-handling SMG.

For players who love the AK platform but want something shorter and handier for buildings, vehicles and tight woodland, the Vityaz is an appealing choice. It looks and feels like a serious piece of kit, uses familiar AK-style controls and is built on internals that are widely supported for servicing and upgrades.

Build and materials

The receiver is made from steel, as you would expect from LCT, giving the Vityaz a solid, reassuring weight and the durability to cope with regular skirmishing. There is very little creak or flex, and the steel construction will wear in naturally over time in the same way as a real AK. The muzzle has a 14mm counter-clockwise thread, so you can fit standard AK-pattern muzzle devices, tracer units or mock suppressors.

Performance and internals

Inside is a Version 3 gearbox, the standard AK gearbox design, which is compatible with Tokyo Marui-pattern upgrade parts. That means replacement springs, gears, pistons and other components are easy to find, and a competent tech can tune or upgrade the gun as your needs change. The 255mm inner barrel is a good length for a compact gun, offering a sensible balance between handling and accuracy, and the adjustable hop-up lets you set the BB’s flight to suit the weight you use.

Handling and ergonomics

The folding stock is one of the Vityaz’s most useful features. Folded, the gun is very compact for transport, vehicle games or squeezing through tight spaces; unfolded, it gives a stable shoulder position for aimed shots. The classic AK-style selector and controls will be second nature to anyone familiar with the platform. The Vityaz uses its own distinctive magazines, which are a feature of the real SMG and add to the replica’s character.

Key features

• AEG replica of the PP-19-01 Vityaz submachine gun
• Steel receiver for strength and realistic weight
• Version 3 gearbox, compatible with Tokyo Marui-pattern parts
• 255mm inner barrel with adjustable hop-up
• Folding stock for compact carry
• 14mm CCW threaded muzzle
• Familiar AK-style controls
• Black finish

Compatibility

Takes Vityaz-specific magazines rather than standard AK magazines, so make sure any spare magazines you buy are designed for LCT’s Vityaz. The 14mm CCW muzzle thread accepts AK-pattern muzzle devices and accessories. The Version 3 gearbox accepts most Tokyo Marui-pattern V3 internal parts. Check battery size against the space in your gun before buying a battery.

Care and maintenance

Disconnect and remove the battery after each game and never store the gun with the battery connected. Clean the inner barrel regularly with a cleaning rod and dry cloth, and use good-quality seamless BBs to protect the barrel and hop-up. Steel parts benefit from a light wipe of gun oil on the outside after wet or damp games to prevent surface rust. Store the gun somewhere dry, and have the gearbox serviced by a tech if you notice changes in rate of fire, sound or performance.

Who is it for?

AK enthusiasts and CQB players who want a compact, steel-bodied SMG with genuine character, and anyone looking for a robust, upgradeable gun that stands out from the usual M4s.
