Description
Golden Eagle M240 Bravo AEG Support Rifle
The Golden Eagle M240 Bravo is an electric airsoft support weapon styled on the M240B, the belt-fed general purpose machine gun used by US forces. It is a big, heavy, imposing replica with a large box magazine, built for players who want to take on the support gunner role and pin down the opposition with sustained fire.
Golden Eagle makes good-value replicas of distinctive firearms, and its M240 brings this iconic machine gun within reach of many players. Running a support weapon is one of the most rewarding roles in airsoft, and a rifle like this changes how a game plays around you.
Build and design
A UK retailer lists the Golden Eagle M240 Bravo at about 6.8kg, in metal construction, with the battery stored in the stock and an adjustable hop-up. That weight makes it stable when firing from a bipod or a rest, and the metal build gives it the solid feel you expect from a support weapon.
Please check the product photos for the exact stock, sights, rails and bipod arrangement of this version.
Box magazine
The same retailer lists a 4000-round box magazine. A high-capacity box magazine lets you lay down long bursts of suppressing fire without stopping to reload, which is exactly what a support gunner needs. Check your site’s rules for support weapons, as many sites have specific limits on magazine capacity, rate of fire and engagement distances.
Playing the support role
A support gunner wins games by controlling areas rather than chasing hits. Work with your team, set up in a position with a good view and some cover, and use bursts to keep the opposition’s heads down while your team moves. Carry plenty of BBs and a spare battery, as support weapons get through both quickly.

Compatibility
Use box magazines made for Golden Eagle’s M240; ask us before buying spares. Check the battery space in the stock before buying a battery, or ask us for a recommendation.
Use high-quality seamless BBs; good BBs matter even more in a high-volume support weapon, as a single bad BB can cause a feeding problem.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it separately at a sensible storage charge, rather than leaving it connected inside the replica. Charge LiPo batteries with a proper balance charger, keep them in a LiPo-safe bag and never leave them charging unattended; NiMH packs should be charged with a smart charger that stops when the pack is full.
Run a cleaning rod with a lightly dampened patch through the inner barrel from time to time to clear dirt and residue, which keeps the hop-up consistent. Use good-quality seamless BBs, never reuse BBs that have been on the ground, and wipe the outside over after damp or muddy games. Leave gearbox work, shimming and spring changes to a competent technician.
Empty the box magazine after each game rather than leaving BBs in it, and check the feed path for grit. Support the gun by its body or bipod rather than its barrel when resting it.
Who is it for?
The Golden Eagle M240 Bravo suits players who want to take on the support gunner role with a heavy, metal-bodied machine gun and a large box magazine.
Please note: The retailer lists battery and charger as sold separately; BBs are also not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye protection, and full-face protection where your site requires it, when using or testing any airsoft replica.
