Description
KWA Magazine Charging Valve O-Ring (x4)
This is a pack of four replacement O-rings for the charging (fill) valve on KWA gas magazines. KWA is a well-known maker of gas blowback pistols and rifles, and the charging valve is where gas enters the magazine when you fill it.
O-rings are small, inexpensive parts, but a worn or damaged one at the charging valve is a common cause of gas escaping while you fill the magazine or slowly leaking out afterwards. Replacing it is often enough to bring a leaking magazine back to full health, and a pack of four gives you spares for several magazines or future repairs.
Spotting a worn valve O-ring
Signs of a worn charging valve O-ring include gas hissing from the valve during or after filling, a magazine that will not hold gas overnight, or bubbles at the valve when the magazine is checked in water (only do this if your magazine is suitable). If the leak is elsewhere, such as at the release valve or base plate, other seals may be at fault.
Fitting
Empty the magazine of BBs and release all gas before removing the charging valve. Use the correct valve key to unscrew it, remove the old O-ring with a non-metal pick if possible to avoid scratching the seat, and roll the new O-ring into place. Add a drop of silicone oil before refitting, and do not overtighten the valve.

Care and maintenance
Before working on any gas magazine, empty it of BBs and release all remaining gas. Keep magazines clean and dry, and put a drop of silicone oil on the fill valve and seals from time to time to keep them supple. Storing a magazine with a small amount of gas in it helps keep seals pressed in shape. Use only the gas type your magazine is designed for, and do not overfill.
Who is it for?
For KWA gas pistol and rifle owners with a magazine that leaks at the fill valve, and for anyone who likes to keep spare seals in the kit bag.
Please note: A valve key may be needed for fitting and is not listed as included. Always release all gas before working on a magazine.
