Description

ACM Custom 1911 with Silencer Spring Pistol (Blue – 2019C)

The ACM Custom 1911 is a spring-powered airsoft pistol in blue with a silencer, as named, listed under ACM code 2019C. It follows the shape of the 1911, the classic single-stack pistol design, and as named it comes with a silencer for a longer, stealthier look.

Spring pistols are the simplest kind of airsoft replica: there is no gas to buy and no battery to charge, so the pistol is ready whenever you are and costs almost nothing to run beyond BBs. That makes the ACM Custom 1911 an affordable way into the hobby, a good pistol for target practice, and a fun addition to a collection.

How a spring pistol works

A spring pistol is cocked by hand before every shot, which compresses a spring behind a small piston. When you pull the trigger, the spring drives the piston forward and the air it pushes sends the BB down the barrel. Because each shot needs to be cocked, the pistol fires one shot at a time at a steady, deliberate pace.

That simple mechanism means performance does not change with the weather, unlike a gas pistol, and there are very few parts to go wrong. It also encourages good habits: taking your time, aiming carefully and making every shot count.

Handling and finish

The blue finish makes the pistol clearly identifiable as a replica and gives it a bright, distinctive look. Please see the product photos for the exact shade and which parts are finished in blue. The silencer lengthens the pistol and changes its balance; please see the photos for how it fits.

Spring pistols are light and easy to hold, which makes them comfortable for younger or newer shooters under supervision. Practise a consistent grip and a smooth trigger press, and you will see your groups tighten quickly.

Getting started

Read the manual first so you know how the magazine loads and how to cock the pistol. Load good-quality 6mm BBs, cock the pistol, and fire a few shots at a safe target with a solid backstop that will stop BBs from bouncing back. Paper targets or a BB trap work well for practice.

Keep the pistol pointed in a safe direction at all times, keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire, and store it unloaded when you have finished.

Compatibility

Use good-quality, seamless 6mm BBs; lighter BBs such as 0.12g or 0.20g generally suit low-powered spring pistols. Spare magazines and parts for budget spring pistols are usually specific to the model, so please check with us before buying anything that is not listed for the ACM Custom 1911. The silencer named in the title is supplied for this pistol; please check with us before trying any other muzzle device.

Care and maintenance

Store the pistol uncocked so the spring is not left compressed, and keep it in a box or pouch away from dust and damp. Never dry-fire it repeatedly without BBs, as the piston then strikes without any resistance and wears more quickly.

Use only clean BBs, never reuse BBs that have been on the ground, and clear any jam carefully with the magazine removed. A light wipe with a soft cloth keeps the finish clean; avoid solvents and heavy oils, which can damage plastic parts.

Who is it for?

The ACM Custom 1911 is for newcomers who want an affordable first pistol, for target practice at home with a safe backstop, and for anyone who likes a bright, distinctive replica.

Please note: Gas and batteries are not needed. BBs are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye protection, and full-face protection for younger shooters, when using or testing any airsoft replica, and use it only under adult supervision where appropriate.
