ACM M249 5.56/.223 Dummy Bullets with Chain
The ACM M249 Dummy Bullets with Chain is a length of linked replica 5.56/.223 rounds designed to add realism to an M249 or other belt-fed style airsoft support weapon. Draped from the feed tray or the box magazine, a dummy belt recreates the look of a real light machine gun in action.
Airsoft support weapons feed BBs from a box or drum, so there is no working belt. A dummy belt fills that gap visually, making your LMG look complete for milsim events, photos and display.
Using it
Fit the belt so it hangs from the feed tray area or the side of the box magazine, in the same way a real belt would. Many players also wear a short length across the chest or on their rig as part of a gunner’s impression.
Because the rounds are dummies, they are for appearance only and have no effect on how your replica feeds or fires. Please check the product photos for the number of rounds and the link style.

Check how the belt sits on your particular model before taking it to a game, so it does not snag on the feed cover or box magazine.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the belt clean after muddy games and let it dry before storing. Check the links now and then and refit any rounds that have worked loose.
Store the belt flat or loosely coiled in a bag to stop the links tangling or bending.
