This is the short, black version of ACM’s quick-detach silencer, supplied with the flash hider it locks onto. It gives an SMG, PDW or short carbine a suppressed profile while keeping the overall length down.
Unlike the other versions in this range, the name of this listing does not describe it as full metal, so please check the product images if construction matters to you. Either way, it is an affordable way to change the look of a replica with a threaded barrel.
Quick-detach design
With a QD design, the supplied flash hider is screwed onto your replica’s outer barrel and left there. The silencer then fits over the flash hider and locks on, so it comes off again in a moment when you want a shorter rifle.
This is handy if you move between CQB and outdoor games, or simply want to store and transport the rifle in a smaller case. It also spares the muzzle thread from constant wear.
Short and practical
The short length is the sensible choice for CQB, where a long silencer catches on doorframes and makes the rifle harder to manoeuvre. The black finish matches most rifles and black furniture straight out of the box.

Compatibility
Airsoft muzzle threads are not all the same. Many replicas use a 14mm counter-clockwise (CCW) thread, but some use clockwise (CW) threads or other sizes. Our listing does not state the thread of this flash hider, so please check the product images and confirm your replica’s thread before ordering, or contact us and we will help.
Also check the length of your outer barrel against the handguard, since a silencer that fits over a flash hider will add length to the front of the rifle.
Care and maintenance
Before each game, check that the flash hider is tight on the barrel and that the silencer locks on securely, as a loose silencer can rattle or drop off in the field. Wipe away mud and grit from the QD locking area so it continues to engage cleanly.
If the silencer has picked up dirt or BB fragments inside, take it off and tap it out or blow it through. Keep it dry and store it off the rifle in a bag or case so the finish is not scuffed.
